In this LIVE 3-hour workshop, you will learn:
- Proper preparation and pressing for perfect pattern matching
- Why pins are the enemy of precision
- When a quarter inch seam allowance matters (and when to ignore it), and
- How to avoid cutting the wrong part of the print 5 times in a row.
As soon as you sign up, you will have access to the supply list and a video to help with fabric selection.
Class will also include a discussion on favourite tools to set you up for success. Students should be comfortable with their sewing machines, as they will practice these techniques using their own fabrics to make 2 show-stopping blocks.
Students will receive a PDF pattern, and will have access to the video recording for 2 weeks following the end of the live workshop.
